Web engineer since 2011, and on CPAN since 2010 — a year before that. I write C++, Perl, Go, Java and TypeScript, mostly in the layer that carries an application; what I care about is performance, security, memory efficiency, and type safety that keeps code easy to write. Away from the keyboard I sing and play guitar and bass, and handle the engineering side of music too — recording, mixing, and live sound.
